Frostveil ("we", "us", "our") operates the Frostveil website and oracle experience. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights regarding it.

- Account information: when you create a Hearken account, we store your email address and an encrypted password (or, if you sign in via a third-party provider, the basic profile data they share with us).
- Reading history: the Signs you draw and any Oracle interpretations generated for you, so we can show your past readings.
- Payment information: when you upgrade, billing is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number — we only receive transaction status, the last four digits, and your billing email/country for tax purposes.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and basic usage analytics (page views, feature usage). Used to keep the site running, prevent abuse, and improve the experience.

- To provide the oracle service and remember your readings.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To send essential service emails (account confirmations, receipts, security alerts).
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your reading history for advertising.

We rely on a small number of trusted providers:
- Stripe — payment processing, tax, billing.
- Lovable Cloud (Supabase) — authentication and database hosting (EU region).
- Resend — sending transactional and newsletter emails.
- Language model providers (e.g. Google Gemini) — generating Oracle interpretations. Reading prompts are sent for processing; no account identifiers are attached.
◈ Data Retention
We retain account and reading data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see below). Payment records are retained as required by tax law (typically 7 years).
◈ Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
◈ Cookies
We use only essential cookies and local storage required to keep you logged in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
◈ Children
Frostveil is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
